At its first, virtual AGM, held on 27th August, Telford Conservative Association elected a new management team.
Harvey Unwin was elected as Chairman
Harvey Unwin said: “I’m immensely honoured to be selected to serve as Chairman of Telford Conservative Association, again, and would like thank everyone for their support.
I would like to thank the retiring Officers for their hard work increasing membership, setting a strategic vision and campaigning
It will be my priority to justify the faith shown in me and help the team build on the strong foundations that have been established in Telford. . .
The new team is a welcome mix of energy, fresh ideas and experience and I look forward to working with them all.
In Lucy Allan, we have an effective and dedicated MP, who following her third parliamentary election has shown that she has the trust and support of the majority of the Telford electorate and works in the best interests of them all.
I am sure that the association members and leadership will be keen that we continue to work closely with Lucy and in partnership with Wrekin Association and the Conservative Group to help create a brighter future for Telford and all its communities."
