Ketley and Overdale update from Cllr Joy Francis

Monday, 2 April, 2018

Lucy Allan and I have met with residents to discuss traffic issues in Ketley and the planning application for change of use for the old Pink Skips site. Lucy will write to all resident to survey their views and I will keep residents updated on when this is coming to the Planning Board so that they can attend. I will be speaking against this on behalf of residents when it comes to the Planning Board

I have arranged for another contentious planning application in Lawley and Overdale to be brought before the planning Board rather than being decided by officers.

Plans are in place for a new mixed age play area in Newdale and I have given my support and made my preferences on the configuration.

The White Lion Pub is over 300 years old and is in danger of being demolished for housing. I am working to try and get the building listed, it is part of the heriatge of ketley and was originally used as a coaching Inn.
