“November was a busy month in the ward.
“Residents are enquiring about play provision in Lightmoor, I have discussed with officers whether monies were provided for this within the planning and I am working with the Parks and Open Spaces officer to take this forward.
“Reports of environmental issues at Horsehay Pool have been raised with the relevant officer at Telford & Wrekin and they were going to meet with the partners involved. I am awaiting their formal response and will report back.
“The Remembrance services were well attended and it was a pleasure to attend The Remembrance Walk held by Lawley & Overvalue History Group along with residents. We heard the stories behind the servicemen who gave their lives, poems of remembrance were read out and we held a two minute silence at each grave before laying wreaths. The atmosphere felt by us all was very moving. I was honoured to lay a wreath and to read a poem at this very different event.”
