Volunteers and Parish Councillors from across The Nedge ward came together on 21 March 2026 as part of Keep Britian Tidy's campaign "The Great British Spring Clean".
Across the country, over half a million volunteers collected an incredible 451,887 bags of litter. That's equivalent to 1,695 tonnes (or 16 blue whales!) of litter removed from the places it doesn’t belong.
Cllr Tom Wust, along with other fellow councillors, volunteers and amazing Parish staff, collected over 20 big bags of litter between Stirchley Coop, Stichley Medical Practice, Churchway, Catstree and around the play parks.
