WELL DONE HARVEY!

Congratulations go to our new Telford and Wrekin Borough Councillor Harvey Unwin. In a by-election held on 11th February 2010, Harvey won The Nedge ward seat from Labour with 760 votes, beating Shaun Davies into second place by 72 votes.

Harvey thanks all from Hollinswood, Randlay and Stirchley who voted for him, and promises that he will serve the interests of ALL his constituents, regardless of political beliefs.

With Harvey's win and that of David Chaplin in The Wrekin's College ward, Conservatives are back in overall control on the Borough Council. Council Leader, Andrew Eade said, " We are very grateful for two tremendous results that vindicate our existing policies and plans for the Borough."
